Maynard is a very weird dude.
He's done a show before, and this is likely a more frequent thing than what I'm privy to, where he demanded no workers, the ones setting up his set, were allowed to look at him. He mentioned that if someone even looked at him the person would have to fuck off and leave or he and the band would pack up and leave on the spot (or something like that).
He did a show once where he and the band didn't even face the audience. They had their backs turned the whole time.

First off, I'd like to point out that I admire you breaking out of the muh Bible plantation. There's no doubt that the book is important for a variety of reasons and that it was indeed world changing, but normies hardly seem to know why.
Secondly, just conflating all of the different angles of this down to "it's just whatever that SATAN guy is" is only really irresponsible at this point.
The truth is that a miraculously incompetent gang of inbreds (which isn't as detrimental as we think), in a modern capacity at least, considers themselves our rulers because their line descended from the punished ones that mated with our ancestors despite warnings not to.
They were left behind by their "parents" who more or less scorned them. They've since taken the remnants of what they were left with and have been vying for control with varying degrees of success for tens of thousands of years.
For a while our species put up a fighting chance after we broke free of the prison(s). Naturally, they got things pretty locked down a few thousand years ago after someone flooded our shit and did a few things to keep us pretty locked down.
Luckily, it's looking like some passersby decided to impede and give us a hand, which may or may not just be bigger versions of ourselves which are more competent in various ways that we don't really comprehend yet.
