Couldn't tell ya for sure, but for me it means I will opt for a 99% survival rate instead of a vaccine with a 90% effective rate.
When you get a flu shot, you are getting a dose of a previously identified flu, based on a "guess" it will be the years likely strain. 50/50 at best. I suspect the CV vaccine will be similar and the age group most likely to run to CVC for their free shot is the age group most likely to die for CV. Go figure.
My parents are 89 and 77. Mom has some health issues, dad is healthier than most 40 year olds. Got the flu shot a few years back, one and only time, both ended up in the emergency room. The irony….both state they will get the CV shot when available.
