Lin Wood Files Lawsuit Challenging Georgia’s Secretary of State’s Dark Unconstitutional Agreement with Hillary Attorney Marc Elias

The country is just being introduced to Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger. We are also beginning to uncover the corrupt actions he has taken to steal the 2020 election for the Democrats. Soon the whole country will know him and his actions.

On March 6, 2020 the Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, signed off on a secret legal agreement with the Democratic Party of Georgia, the Democrat Senatorial Campaign Committee, and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee to alter absentee ballot procedures in Georgia. The Democrats’ attorney for this secret deal was Marc Elias from Perkins Coie, the consigliere of Hillary Clinton who has been busy managing other secretive Democratic election operations all across the country. (In Appendix A of Lin Wood filing yesterday is a copy of the agreement – See below.)

Attorney L. Lin Wood, Jr. who is a resident and legal voter of the state of Georgia, filed a legal complaint yesterday against not only Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, but also against the members of the Secretary of State’s State Board of Elections for getting into this agreement.

Wood tweeted about his lawsuit yesterday against the Georgia Secretary of State and Election Board based on their unconstitutional actions in the election:

The lawsuit filed by Wood argues that the Secretary of State and the Election Board changed the manner in which absentee ballots were counted which they had no right to sign.

The right to change election processes lies with the legislature and not the Secretary of State or the Judiciary:

Wood argues in his lawsuit that given that Raffensperger had no legal authority to sign this legal document, Wood is asking of the Court, in his Prayer For Relief, the following:

(a) That, as a result of Defendants’ violations of the United States Constitution and violations of other federal and state election laws, this Court should enter an order, declaration, and/or injunction that prohibits Defendants from certifying the results of the 2020 general election in Georgia on a statewide basis;

(b) Alternatively, that, as a result of Defendants’ violations of the United States Constitution and violations of other federal and state election laws, this Court should enter an order, declaration, and/or injunction prohibiting Defendants from certifying the results of the General Elections which include the tabulation of defective absentee ballots, regardless of whether said ballots were cured;

(c) Alternatively, that, as a result of Defendants’ violations of the United States Constitution and violations of other federal and state election laws, this Court should enter an order, declaration, and/or injunction that the results of the 2020 general election in Georgia are defective as a result of the above-described constitutional violations, and that Defendants are required to cure said deficiencies in a manner described in the Litigation Settlement; and (d) Any and other such further relief that this Court or the Finder of Fact deems equitable and just.

"We Can't Be Blackmailed": Hungary & Poland Threaten To Veto EU Stimulus Package

Poland and Hungary are taking an aggressive stand against what many see as the European Union's attempt to "force foreign values upon member nations" - this after West European nations have frequently derided Poland under President Andrzej Duda and Hungary under Prime Minister Viktor Orbán as "authoritarian regimes" - something also echoed widely in US and UK media.

Bloomberg reports on Friday that "Poland joined Hungary in threatening to veto the European Union’s 1.8 trillion-euro ($2.1 trillion) budget over the bloc's efforts to make sure funds only go to countries that adhere to democratic standards."

In EU technocrat-speak adhering to "democratic standards" tends to mean everything from open EU borders, to state services for all migrants, to redefining marriage, to ceding sovereignty to a bunch of bureaucrats in Brussels, to abortion on demand.

Both countries have been seen as 'severe violators' of such principles, given Orbán's family first policies summed up in the controversial "procreation, not immigration" messaging, or in the case of Poland recently upholding its strict anti-abortion laws.

Already under formal EU probes, both countries have sensed the latest attempts to link budget and stimulus packages to conformity with EU consensus ideology - or what Brussels touts as 'rule of law' - is yet another attempt to legally impose external values and directives.

Last week Orban said in a state radio interview that "Hungary can’t be blackmailed." The Hungarian PM said further: "The rule-of-law debate sounds like it’s about the law but it’s a political debate."

And now Poland is joining Hungary what increasingly appears their joint brinkmanship pushing back against being dictated to from abroad.

Fed Chair Powell Admits The Truth: "We're Not Going Back To The Same Economy"

Even Jerome Powell is admitting that the boom years are over. For months, I have been trying to explain to my readers that the debt-fueled “prosperity” that we were enjoying prior to the COVID pandemic won’t be coming back, and initially I received quite a bit of criticism for saying that. But that criticism has subsided, because at this point pretty much everyone can see the truth. Despite stimulus package after stimulus package, and despite unprecedented intervention by the Federal Reserve, we continue to be mired in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Fear of the virus continues to drag down the overall level of economic activity, more businesses are going under with each passing day, and the layoff announcements never seem to end.

Normally, Federal Reserve officials try very hard to be relentlessly optimistic. But during a European Central Bank panel discussion on Thursday, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell openly admitted that “we’re not going back to the same economy”…

“We’re not going back to the same economy,” Powell said. “We’re recovering, but to a different economy and it will be one that is more leveraged to technology, and I worry that it’s going to make it even more difficult than it was for many workers.”

The central bank leader said he was referring specifically to “relatively low-paid public-facing workers who are bearing this brunt,” many of whom are women and minorities.

His use of the phrase “a different economy” really got my attention.

When I am trying to break some really bad news to someone in a gentle way, I will often use the word “different” to describe what things will be like moving forward, and I think that Powell is doing the same thing here. He knows that there is no way that things will “return to normal” any time soon, and he is quite correct to be particularly concerned about how this will affect low paid workers.

Low paid workers have been losing their jobs at a much higher rate than anyone else, and the job losses just keep rolling in.

On Thursday, we learned that another 709,000 Americans filed new claims for unemployment benefits last week, and that number is more than three times higher than what we witnessed during a typical week in 2019…

The Labor Department report showed an eleventh straight week that new jobless claims totaled below 1 million. But new claims have not yet broken back below 700,000 since the start of the pandemic and have held sharply above levels from before the outbreak. Throughout 2019, new initial unemployment claims were coming in at an average of just over 200,000 per week.

Germany & France Outraged Over Russian 'Reciprocal' Sanctions Of Top Officials In Navalny Fallout

Not only has Russia been angry and frustrated over the Alexei Navalny fallout where for months Germany, European countries, and the US have accused the Kremlin of a conspiracy to assassinate the Putin critic via poisoning, but now Moscow is going gloves off in returning the favor of the pressure campaign Berlin has been waging.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced Thursday plans to sanction German and French officials as retaliation for EU punitive restrictions on Russian officials related to the alleged Navalny poisoning.

Before the Aug.20 incident Navalny was a somewhat obscure opposition activist (Russian officials have routinely dismissed him as a mere "blogger), but after being emergency airlifted to a Berlin hospital became a central figure amid Western efforts to push claims of nefarious Putin-sponsored and Russian intelligence hits on "major" opposition voices, akin to the saga of Skripal poisoning.

Russian officials have long been angry at not being able to conduct their own investigation or to access Navalny in Berlin. This week France and Germany rolled out with sanctions on a who's who of top Russian intelligence and defense officials.

Russia then announced its own "reciprocal" sanctions on German and French officials:

Speaking of Russia’s reciprocal sanctions against France and Germany, the [Kremlin] spokesman stressed that "one couldn’t have expected anything different."

"The reciprocity principle works here rather clearly, hardly anyone could have expected that Russia would leave this without a reaction," he explained.

In response to a question which officials from Germany and France banned from entering Russia would correspond to the level of First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Kiriyenko blacklisted by the West, the Kremlin representative noted "One can hardly find Kiriyenko’s equal but in any case, at least nominally, of course, it is easy to find a corresponding title."

The Kremlin spokesperson called the allegations related to Navalny "more than dubious."

And now Germany is upset, with a government spokesman on Friday lashing out at the "unjustified" and "inappropriate" Russian action.

Israeli spies allegedly killed al-Qaeda second-in-command in Iran 3 months ago… & all countries involved have kept mum until NOW?

The second-ranking al-Qaeda terrorist was gunned down in Iran in August by Israeli operatives, ‘intelligence sources’ have told the New York Times, adding that all parties have kept the mysterious killing under wraps since then.

Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, a.k.a. Abu Muhammad al-Masri, was allegedly shot along with his daughter Miriam by two Israeli assassins riding on a motorcycle, the sources claimed. The killers reportedly pulled up alongside Abdullah’s white Renault sedan on the evening of August 7 and fired five shots from a pistol equipped with a silencer into the vehicle, hitting their targets with four of the bullets.

Abdullah and his daughter had been living freely in Tehran’s Pasdaran district since 2015, when they were released from Iranian custody as part of a prisoner exchange with the terrorist group, swapped out for an Iranian diplomat the terrorists had kidnapped in Yemen. Miriam was the widow of Hamza bin Laden, son of alleged 9/11 mastermind Osama. The younger bin Laden, whom Miriam’s father had mentored, was reportedly killed by a US airstrike last year somewhere between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

No country has publicly claimed responsibility for Abdullah’s death, and the terrorist – widely tapped to take over in the event of current leader Ayman al-Zawahiri’s death – remained featured alongside a $10 million reward on the FBI’s Most Wanted list as of Friday. He was indicted by the US for his alleged involvement in the 1998 bombing of US embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi, Kenya. Those attacks took place 22 years to the day before Abdullah was allegedly killed.

Nikki Haley bashes Twitter for flagging election tweet but allowing Iranian leader’s Holocaust denial

Is this more big tech censorship of conservatives?

Nikki Haley challenged Twitter on Friday after the social media platform flagged one of her tweets regarding election fraud. The former United Nations ambassador demanded to know why her tweet was tagged with a warning label from Twitter, but there was no disclaimer whatsoever on a tweet from Iran's leader doubting the Holocaust.

Haley posted a general warning about election fraud, while not citing the 2020 presidential election or any specific situation. The tweet in question included a link to "Stand for America," Haley's "advocacy group promoting public policies that strengthen America's economy, culture, and national security."

"Despite what the media tells us, election fraud does happen, and policies like ballot harvesting and mailing ballots to people who don't request them makes it easier," Haley tweeted. "That needs to stop."

In less than two hours, Twitter slapped a warning label on Haley's tweet that said, "This claim about election fraud is disputed." The warning linked to a fact-checking website that said voter fraud was "incredibly rare."

Haley fired off a tweet pointing out how her post was flagged by Twitter, but Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei can spread doubts about the Holocaust on Twitter without any fact-checking.

Haley included a screenshot of Khamenei's tweet from October, where he said, "The next question to ask is: why is it a crime to raise doubts about the Holocaust? Why should anyone who writes about such doubts be imprisoned while insulting the Prophet (pbuh) is allowed?"

Haley took aim at Twitter by writing, "Wow. When Iran's Ayatollah says the Holocaust didn't happen, Twitter doesn't say 'this claim is disputed.' When I say ballot harvesting makes election fraud easier Twitter says that's disputed. Wonder why conservatives don't trust big tech?"

Twitter claims that Haley's tweet was flagged because it violated the company's Civic Integrity Policy, which states, "You may not use Twitter's services for the purpose of manipulating or interfering in elections or other civic processes."

This isn't the first time Haley has questioned Twitter for allowing the Ayatollah to post questionable ideas on the social media network, but has no issues in censoring conservatives.

During a hearing on anti-Semitism in July, a Twitter representative defended the social media company's decision not to block tweets from Khamenei calling for genocide, while at the same time flagging tweets from President Donald Trump.

As Millions Face Eviction and Starvation, Pentagon to Spend Nearly $2 Billion a Day on War

According to an analysis from Feeding America, food insecurity will hit 52 million people due to COVID-19 in the United States, which is an increase of 17 million people from pre-pandemic times. Supply line disruptions, lower levels of donations, and millions of unemployed people who’ve lost their jobs due to government-imposed lockdowns have created a massive strain on America’s food supply and more and more family’s are being pushed into a situation of food insecurity.

It’s not just the brink of starvation that millions of Americans face either. Thanks to government-mandated lockdowns, a record number of Americans are unable to find jobs as businesses are forced to close or have gone out of business permanently. This is creating a situation in which families are unable to pay their rent — leading to the potential for mass evictions.

In March the CARES Act imposed a federal moratorium on evictions, which mandated that it was illegal to evict tenants who participate in federal housing assistance programs or who live in properties with a federally backed mortgage loan due to the nonpayment of rent. When the CARES Act moratorium expired on July 24, a host of state and local governments passed their own eviction prevention measures—but these actions varied significantly across the country and left many renters vulnerable to eviction once again.

Then, on September 4, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued another moratorium on evictions through December 31, 2020. While this will certainly help those who rent — temporarily — all the moratorium did was pass the burden onto the landlord who may no longer be able to pay the mortgage on the property without the incoming rent.

And no, contrary to what many believe, most landlords are not mega rich property owners and live modest lifestyles.

In fact, according to an analysis by the Brookings Institute 40 percent of residential property units are owned by individual investor landlords. Among those owning residential investment property, roughly a third are from low- to moderate-income households; property income constitutes up to 20 percent of their total household income.

Now, without some sort of assistance for the burden placed on smaller landlords another massive crisis is unfolding. To understand why this crisis is unfolding it needs to be made clear that a moratorium doesn’t forgive rent payments, it only allows the renter to defer them. However, if a tenant cannot come up with monthly rent right now, the idea of paying back multiple months of compounded rent after the moratorium is over, will be all but impossible.

In December 2018, the Undercover Policing Inquiry (UCPI), which investigates numerous controversies surrounding the British state’s use of clandestine operatives, revealed ISM’s London branch was infiltrated by Special Branch spy ‘Rob Harrison’ (a pseudonym).

He penetrated the group 2004-2006, and was concurrently involved in a number of left-wing and anarchist movements in the UK capital, his activities even taking him overseas, and resulting in his arrest by uniformed officers under his cover name.

Rothschild heir claims initial victory in legal fight over family’s Nazi-seized legacy in Austria

The city of Vienna has reportedly suffered the first setback in a dispute with descendants of the Rothschild banking dynasty, who sued the authorities over a charitable trust with assets worth up to €110 million ($130 million).

American investor Geoffrey Hoguet filed lawsuits on behalf of his family against the Austrian municipality earlier this year. The case is centered around the family’s foundation, set up by Albert Freiherr von Rothschild in 1907 and taken away from the family after the Nazi takeover of Austria. Nearly 80 years afterwards, the heirs accused the city of misappropriating the trust and benefiting from its assets.

After a months-long legal battle, the court finally sided with the American billionaire’s legal team, Austrian daily Kurier and the Guardian reported. The judge ruled that an independent “collision curator” is to be appointed to represent the charity in legal proceedings. This allowed Hoguet to celebrate an early win.

“The decision is an important first stage win in our legal battle with the city of Vienna to correct the course of Nazi-era injustices endured until today,” Hoguet said as cited by media. He added that the decision signals that the court “recognizes the improprieties” conducted by the municipality since the Nazi seizure of the trust.

The assets of the foundation are valued at more than €110 million and include a massive endowment and two clinics, one of which is a late baroque palace. The Nazis seized control over the fund and dissolved it in 1938, but it resumed operations 18 years later. However, the family was not aware of this, it says.

The Rothschilds say that the fund was re-established in “disregard for the original charter,” allowing the city of Vienna to administer the endowment’s assets. It was initially meant to be run by a 12-member committee, with most board members nominated by the Rothschild family.

Chipmaker Qualcomm gets greenlight to supply 4G products to sanctioned Huawei

Qualcomm has confirmed that it has obtained the necessary license from the US government to sell 4G chips to China’s Huawei. The supplies were previously banned by Washington as it tightened its grip on Chinese companies.

According to a spokeswoman for Qualcomm, the chip supplier “received a license for a number of products, which includes some 4G products,” Reuters reported. The company did not elaborate on the items it can now ship to the Chinese tech giant, but it did note that the license covers some mobile devices.

Qualcomm applied for permission to continue doing business with Huawei earlier this year, when the company was targeted with new US restrictions that forbade companies from selling products made with US technology to Huawei.

Early media reports suggested that Qualcomm may resume supplies of 5G chips to the Chinese firm, but the recent statement suggests that the supplies will be limited to 4G. The US government previously indicated that products not linked to Huawei’s 5G business were more likely to win approval.

Qualcomm has said that some of its applications are still pending approval, while other suppliers are also waiting for the US government to allow them to resume shipments to Huawei. Some firms have already secured permissions on certain types of products, including Intel, Sony, and Samsung, among others.

Huawei ended up on the US trade blacklist, officially known as the Entity List, last year at the height of simmering trade war between the two world’s biggest economies. The ban effectively forbade US businesses, including the likes of Qualcomm, from doing business with the Chinese tech firm unless granted an exemption.

Washington has only tightened its pressure on the Chinese entities since then, and ordered all companies using US technology to stop selling semiconductors to the Chinese firm. The ban affected Huawei’s potential to design its own chips. Huawei previously said that it is running out of processor chips to make smartphones and will no longer be able to produce high-end Kirin chips due to US sanctions.

Analysts previously said that renewed supplies could facilitate recovery for the Chinese tech firm's smartphone businesses. However, the granted licenses may have only a “limited impact,” Bernstein analyst Stacy Rasgon said as cited by Reuters, as the easing of sanctions applies to the non-5G sector, amid rising customer interest in devices that support that next-generation networks.

Top UK Politician: Workplaces, Social Venues, May Ban Britons Without Vaccination Certificates

A senior Conservative MP has said it is possible that once mass vaccination is underway workplaces and social venues may ban entry to those who do not have a certificate to prove they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Earlier this week, drugs firms Pfizer and BioNTech revealed that their coronavirus vaccine was more than 90 per cent effective at preventing infection. However, the British government was cautious about the development, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson telling a press conference: “I must stress that these are very, very early days.”

Speaking to HuffPost UK on Thursday, Tom Tugendhat MP, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee in the House of Commons, said that if there is a nationwide rollout of a vaccine, he could imagine that employers and social venues such as pubs and restaurants may demand to see certificates of vaccination, comparing it to conditions on entry to certain countries.

“[I]f vaccination works and if we’re confident it’s safe, and all indications so far are good, then I can certainly see the day when businesses say: ‘Look, you’ve got to return to the office and if you’re not vaccinated you’re not coming in,’” Mr Tugendhat told the HuffPost’s Commons People podcast.

The senior MP continued: “And I can certainly see social venues asking for vaccination certificates.

“I remember when I used to travel rather more than I do now – when you go into certain countries you had to show a yellow fever certificate and if you did not have a yellow fever certificate you weren’t allowed in the country and that was that.

“There was no debates, no appeals and no further requests.

“And I can see a situation where yes, of course you’re free not to have the vaccine, but there are consequences.”

On whether public, government-run services may be denied to those who are not vaccinated, Tugendhat said: “It would depend [on] what the public services were, and who and when, so I wouldn’t want to start predicting.

“But I do think that if things are shown to be safe then rejecting them when they have a wider effect on the whole of society is going to have consequences.”

During the first lockdown in April, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said that his department was looking into “immunity certificates” for those who had antibodies, so that they could leave restrictions and get back to normal life, as far as that was possible — even suggesting people wear “immunity bracelets”.

Germany had said at the same time that it was considering a vaccine certificate which would allow employees to return to their places of work.

When French president Emmanuel Macron announced curfews in major cities in mid-October, any citizens out after lockdown would need to have permits.

In the United Kingdom a document is not required, but under the second lockdown Britons must have a “reasonable excuse” to be outside or risk a £200 fine.

Scottish Hate Crime Bill Could Criminalise ‘Inflammatory’ Bible

A sloppily worded hate crime bill in Scotland could undermine free speech and unfairly stigmatize people of faith, the Christian Institute has warned.

The Christian Institute’s Deputy Director Ciarán Kelly said on Friday that the proposed legislation “risks creating a chilling effect on free speech” because of the ambiguity of its language and lack of protections for basic freedoms.

“The new offences cover ‘abusive’ behaviour intended to ‘stir up hatred’ but no explanation is given as to what these terms actually mean,” Mr Kelly said.

“Would it be ‘abusive’ and ‘hateful’ to quote the Bible’s teaching on marriage, gender or sexual ethics?” he added. “Some groups would say yes. There is a real risk of malicious reports from activists who wish to stop Christians expressing their beliefs.”

“Provisions on ‘inflammatory material’ could be used against Christian books, sermons by church ministers – even the Bible itself,” Kelly noted. “The potential reach of the offences is enormous, affecting religious practice in public and in private.”

These fears are not without basis and atheist groups have already threatened to use the new legislation to target Christians.

Atheists see some merit in the Hate Crime Bill, said the convener of Atheists Scotland, Ian Stewart, “as it will enable the prosecution of all Scotland’s religions and their Holy Books for spreading hatred.”

“It is utterly unacceptable that in progressive, social democratic Scotland that squalid, Bronze Age village disputes, as described in the Holy Books, about control of women, goats or water should give Scotland’s ‘Holy Willies‘ authority to spout out vitriol against atheists, agnostics, apostates, sceptics, non-believers, women, trans people and homosexuals,” Stewart declared in the Dundee newspaper The Courier.

Stewart said that his group intends to “monitor all Holy Books, sermons in places of worship and the social media accounts of the various religions” and will report any offenders to police to be criminally prosecuted.

This past summer, the director of the Catholic Parliamentary Office, Anthony Horan, warned that the bill could enshrine “cancel culture” in law.

“A new offence of possessing inflammatory material could even render material such as the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church inflammatory,” Mr Horan noted. “The Catholic Church’s understanding of the human person, including the belief that sex and gender are not fluid and changeable, could potentially fall foul of the new law.”

“Allowing for respectful debate should mean avoiding censorship and accepting the divergent views and multitude of arguments inhabiting society,” Horan said.

Socialist ‘Anti-Hate’ Chief Resigns from Paris Govt over Rape Indictment

Pierre Aidenbaum, former deputy of Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo and former president of a French anti-hate group, has resigned his post in government after being indicted for rape.

Aidenbaum, a socialist who served as president of the International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism (Licra), was indicted for rape and sexual assault on October 9th and stands accused of raping a 40-year-old colleague he had worked with for years.

The resignation is the first of its kind for a Paris official, according to a report from French newspaper Le Monde. Aidenbaum, 78, will be replaced by environmentalist Corine Faugeron.

The sexual assault case began in September when the alleged victim came forward, and the case was presented to Mayor Hidalgo the following day. The case was then sent to a public prosecutor who opened an investigation.

Initially, the Paris City Council referred to the allegations as sexual harassment, but the investigators referred to the case as sexual assault and later indicted Aidenbaum on rape charges. The 78-year-old was also banned from contacting the victim or witnesses.

According to Le Monde, the appointment of Faugeron to Aidenbaum’s former position will slightly shift the balance of power in the Paris council, as Mayor Anne Hidalgo’s group is reduced to 55 members.

The local Paris government continues to struggle with other issues in the city, including high levels of crime in areas like the heavily migrant-populated 18th arrondissement, where residents have claimed to have been abandoned by the government as crime surges.

Illegal migrants also continue to live on the streets of the French capital in makeshift camps. To counter this, the government has proposed transforming a former historic town hall into a reception centre for migrants and asylum seekers.

Drugs also remain a major issue for the city, particularly crack cocaine use. Last month, Paris stated it would be opening “shooting rooms” for crack cocaine addicts to use after getting permission from French Health Minister Agnes Buzyn.

Law Commission Pushes for Hate Speech Law to Ban ‘Islamophobic’ Mohammed Cartoons

The Law Commission has proposed changes to hate crime laws in Britain that would see Charlie Hebdo style caricatures of the Islamic prophet banned, in what is being described as “the Scottish Hate Crime Bill on steroids”.

The suggested hate speech reforms from the Law Commission, an unelected official body of lawyers in England and Wales, would see the government ban the dissemination of “inflammatory cartoons” in the wake of Islamist terror attacks in France.

The 533-page report said that current restrictions on free speech in the United Kingdom do not adequately punish those who share “Islamophobic cartoons”, arguing that while they may already be prosecutable under section 127(1) of the Communications Act 2003, it “does not carry the same gravity or labelling as the stirring up offences. It does not reflect the fundamental harm involved, which is not that it is offensive, but that it incites hatred.”

The Law Commission said that “stirring up hatred” offences un the Public Order Act 1986 should go beyond just written material, meaning that newspaper and magazine editors could face up to seven years in prison for publishing “inflammatory images”.

The consultation also pushed the idea of creating legal protections for “philosophical beliefs”, with the Commission pointed to humanism as a potentially protected ideology– ironically, given the longstanding tradition of humanists opposing blasphemy laws.

The Law Commission went on to call for an expansion of so-called protected classes, saying that attacks on groups such as immigrants, asylum seekers, cross-dressers, sex workers, asexuals, and women should be added to the list of “hate crimes”.

The group claimed that “the whole point of hate-crime law… is to educate the public” and therefore by criminalising misogyny it would serve to remind the British public that “negative attitudes towards women are not acceptable”.

A columnist for the Spectator, Joanna Williams wrote: “The [consultation] drips with contempt for the British public: we are either hateful and in need of re-education, or pathetic and in need of protection.”

Andrew Tettenborn, a law professor at Swansea University, described the Commission’s proposals as “the Scottish Hate Crime Bill on steroids”.

In contrast to the approach taken by the Law Commission, French president Emanuel Macron has come out in defence of free speech and Enlightenment values, after a Samuel Pay, a French teacher, was beheaded by a Chechen asylum seeker for showing his class caricatures of the Muslim prophet Mohammed from the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo during a class on freedom of expression.

President Macron has also taken a stronger stance on radical Islamic extremism and has called for Islamists who fail to uphold French values to leave the country.

Last week I did an article on Tucker Carlson called ‘The Last Truth Teller’ and I talked about how he was just about the last, big voice on Fox News that was actually telling the truth on that network. What I didn’t know when I wrote that article was that Fox News had installed a Joe Biden former Chief of Staff named Danny O’Brien as their executive vice president. O’Brien is actively working to see his old boss elected president, so I wonder how that will impact news decision he will be making?

Pierre Omidyar: A Dangerous Billionaire-Backer of the “Resistance”

One of the most disturbing trends in the era of Trump has been the flock of billionaires that have come rushing into the Democratic Party to pose as leaders of an opposition movement to the “fascist” predations of the real estate mogul. These billionaires, which include capitalists such as George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, and Tom Steyer are the architects of a “Big Tent” strategy first outlined by Black Agenda Report Editor Glen Ford. This strategy was devised by the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign of 2016. The strategy has two components. The first component is the promotion of “diversity” to distract from the fact that the Democratic Party can no longer appeal to the interests of the poor or working-class, especially Black people who have been held in electoral captivity for a generation. Second, “Big Tent” Democrats actively seek an alliance of Wall Street, the military and intelligence apparatus, and Republicans to provide the financial and political strength behind the strategy.

The “Big Tent” strategy is called the “Resistance.” One of the chief billionaire-backers of the “Resistance” is Pierre Omidyar. Omidyar is the founder of the eBay corporation. His surplus profits have been used over the years to exert “soft power” influence over the U.S. state. Omidyar has given hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of cash to Democratic Party candidates since 1999.

Omidyar was one of the principle donors to the NeverTrump Political Action Committee (PAC) that formed during the 2016 election. The NeverTrump PAC brought together neoliberal and neoconservative Democrats into an alliance against Trump. William Kristol, editor in chief at the Weekly Standard and longtime Republican, has been one of the most vocal supporters of the NeverTrump movement. Kristol is an expert in the think-tank business and understands the importance of “soft power.” He helped found the Project for the New American Century that peddled neocon wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as an escalation of the U.S.’ military presence around the world, including on Russia’s doorstep. Kristol has become a favorite of the corporate media since Trump was elected in 2016. He is a regular on MSNBC and is viewed by corporate Democrats as the “sane” wing of the Republican Party.

That Omidyar would align with Kristol is a stark indication of the “Big Tent” strategy at work. In a post on Twitter after the midterm elections came to pass, Kristol celebrated the support that he has received from “the left” and its benefactors such as Pierre Omidyar. Kristol’s excitement about billionaire support from all sides of the political aisle represents a development in the Trump era that is far more dangerous than Trump himself. The “Big Tent” strategy is a marked political shift to the right. Not only this, but the shift is part and parcel of a covert war against the real “left” that is principally being waged by the fake “left” coalition of thieves and warmongers in the Democratic Party.

The critical question that must be asked is whether there are any benefits for ordinary poor and working-class people in supporting the NeverTrump coalition or billionaire backers such as Omidyar. And the answer is more complex than a simple “no.” It is far worse than that. Omidyar is not a “lesser-evil” billionaire. In the system of U.S. imperialism, those don’t exist.

Biden’s Chief of Staff Worked on Behalf of Big Tech for Endless H-1B Visas

Democrat Joe Biden has chosen Ronald Klain to be his chief of staff should he enter the White House in January. Klain worked on behalf of Silicon Valley executives and their interests, which include providing tech corporations with an endless supply of H-1B foreign visa workers and more free trade.

Klain, who was made Biden’s incoming chief of staff this week, served on the executive council of TechNet — a firm that promotes the interests of Silicon Valley’s tech corporations in Washington, D.C. Klain served on the council alongside executives from the Oracle Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Google, Visa, Apple, and Microsoft.

TechNet, most recently, joined a lawsuit against President Trump’s reforms to the H-1B visa program that sought to prioritize unemployed Americans for jobs rather than allowing businesses to continue importing foreign workers.

Trump’s seeking to force businesses to hire Americans over importing foreign visa workers is an affront to Silicon Valley’s tech corporations, those represented by TechNet, who advocate for an endless flow of H-1B foreign visa workers.

There are about 650,000 H-1B visa workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Americans are often laid off and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart News. More than 85,000 Americans annually potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa program.

Analysis conducted in 2018 discovered that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley, California, are foreign-born, while the tech industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50 percent foreign-born tech workers. Up to 99 percent of H-1B visa workers imported by the top eight outsourcing firms are from India.

TechNet’s listed immigration goals include allowing corporations to dictate the annual level of legal immigration to the United States and the elimination of per-country caps that would effectively let India and China monopolize the U.S. green card system.

The group’s goals on trade are in direct opposition to President Trump’s economic nationalist agenda that has imposed tariffs on foreign imports from China, Canada, Europe, and other parts of the globe.

TechNet’s trade goals include reducing “tariff and non-tariff barriers to information, communications, and advanced energy technology products, services, and investments” as well as “protections for the free flow of data across borders…”

While Biden has vowed to flood the U.S. labor market with more foreign workers to compete against Americans for jobs, he has shied away from questions on whether he will eliminate tariffs on foreign imports that were imposed by Trump. Such elimination of tariffs would be a boon to multinational corporations that offshore their production and jobs overseas only to import their products back into the U.S. market, often with no penalties for doing so.

Justice Alito: Covid-19 Pandemic Has Led to “Unimaginable” Curbs on Individual Liberty (VIDEO)

Conservatives US Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said the Covid pandemic has led to unimaginable curbs on individual liberty during a meeting of the Federalist Society late Thursday night.

“We have never before seen restrictions as severe, extensive and prolonged as those experienced for most of 2020.”

“The COVID crisis has served as sort of a constitutional stress test,” he said.

Alito said Americans are losing their religious liberty after officials ordered churches and synagogues closed.

“Think of worship services — Churches closed on Easter Sunday, synagogues closed for Passover in Yom Kippur,” Alito said.

“It pains me to say this,” he added, “but in certain quarters, religious liberty is fast becoming a disfavored right.”

The justice also said freedom of speech is under assault.

“Although that freedom is falling out of favor in some circles, we need to do whatever we can to prevent it from becoming a second-tier constitutional right,” he said.

Pennsylvania Election Judge: Dozens of Blank Ballots Missing From End of Day Count at One County Precinct on Election Day

An election judge in Washington County, Pennsylvania has come forward with a troubling story of dozens of missing ballots in the precinct she served as a judge on election day. Julianna Helby told her story of the missing ballots to Paul Kengor of the American Spectator who included her report in his article on the Pennsylvania presidential election, Why Pennsylvania Doesn’t Add Up – Mail-in ballots take on a life of their own, published Friday.

The Washington County elections website reports President Trump won the county with 71,375 votes to 44,712 for Joe Biden with all 180 precincts reporting.

Washington County is located just southwest of Allegheny County/Pittsburgh, on the border with Ohio.

Kengor says Helby reported the missing ballots to authorities. Helby says she believes the ballots were not taken at the precinct but rather the packages the ballots arrived from county election headquarters already shorted about twenty ballots each.

I was contacted by Julianna Heiby, the judge of elections for a precinct in Washington County near the Allegheny County border. She reached out to me because she witnessed activity that she believes might constitute “fraudulent actions.” She has reported this information to the authorities.

“The county provided us with blank ballots for use in the voting machines,” Julianna told me. “After voting, the ballots are counted in the ballot box. The number of voters who signed our poll books matched the number of ballots cast: 1254 for our precinct.” As judge of elections, “one of my tasks at the end of the night is to account for all the ballots. We are told how many ballots are packaged in our equipment. We were, supposedly, given 2250 ballots, packaged into three bundles of 750 each. One bundle was used completely. One bundle was still sealed at the end of the night. Of the partially used package, 205 remained.” Her math: “We cast 1254 ballots on Tuesday. 1500 – 1254 = 246.”

There should have been 246, but in fact there were only 205. That means that 41 ballots were missing.

As Julianna put it, “41 unaccounted-for ballots may not seem like a big issue, but if 41 ballots are missing from many precincts, we now have a discrepancy worthy of attention.”

Julianna told me that she believes in retrospect that these 41 didn’t disappear at the precinct but, in fact, never arrived to begin with: “My guess is that the package of ballots arrived at our precinct incomplete. We got them from the Washington County Board of Elections, which delivers them to the precincts throughout the county. So, they would not have been missing or potentially taken while at my precinct but prior to arriving.” Says Julianna: “I don’t know for sure, and I can’t say for certain if they were stolen, but I do know that there were at least 41 missing.”
