Please see the graphics for what I think may be the plan, at least for the election.

If this is true, and because there is such a slim margin in some states, I really think it would be wise to have all Republican winners in slim margin states put under protective custody until the January 2021 vote.

If this is part of the plan, then I don't expect any fireworks until after the new congress is seated in January. However, if this is the plan, and something else happens, then I would expect fireworks sooner. Who knows, it may be a multi pronged plan they have put into motion.

That scenario is based on the 5 states not resolving the issues prior to the Safe Harbor deadline date of December 8th. It is not at all likely, but it is where we are at today.

It is correct. If the Republican led legislatures don't certify resolution of formal complaints (by the Republican legislators) on or before December 8th, the state(s) forfeit their vote from the electoral college that meets the following week.
