Crime:
Harvested and sold body parts from kidnapped, unwilling donors. Caught holding 24 individuals captive in five flats for the purpose of harvesting their kidneys. Had previously avoided prosecution due to being connected to the Pakistani ‘power elite’.

Medical officer Government of West Pakistan Health Department, 1963-1967. Registrar urology ward Mayo Hospital, Lahore, 1967-1970, senior registrar urology ward, 1971. Surgeon Pakistani Armed Forces, Pakistan, 1971-1972, consultant urologist and transplant surgeon Pakistan, 1973-1986, Kidney Center (Also known as Al-Sayed Hospital), Rawaldindi, since 1987. Owned hospital.
Achievements
Achievements include pioneering of many urological procedures in Pakistan, dialysis in Pakistan, 1969, kidney transplantation in Pakistan, 1979. Performed 1462 kidney transplant operations (highest number performed by one single surgeon in the world).
Membership
Colonel Army Medical Corps, 1973-1986. Member Asian Society Transplantation, International Society Nephrology, Asian Colliquium in Nephrology, Pakistan Society of Nephro-Urology (past vice president), Pakistan Society Urology.
Also arrested during investigation of crimes were shah’s two sons. Mukhtar Hamid Shah and his sons disappeared after arrest.
He pioneered many urological and dialysis procedures in Pakistan. Some of his transplants appear to have taken place in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
Connecting some dots without evidence here…. A famous man dies in Abbottabad Pakistan a few years ago. This man is rumored to have required frequent dialysis. His name?
