This is an =important= tip on how to make sure you're archiving the full size images, too.
As someone who works with the archived posts, I cannot state the the importance of this strongly enough. I've spent a LOT of time over the past few months trying to find the full size images anywhere I can find them. A lot of important information has been lost because it was provided as images only. Now we know how to safely save it all.
I hope your hard drives are large. Some of those full size images are HUGE!
There's an entire swath of posts in February that have had their images deleted. Some posts and even complete threads have been entirely deleted from online, and that includes the official archives, in some cases. It's a lot of them. I have no idea how they all could be efficiently sent.
