peoples' cognitive dissonance won't allow them to even entertain the idea that those are two different organisms, but if they were introduced to them side-by-side and told they were twins, and asked if they thought they were identical or fraternal, I bet most people would think there was enough of a difference in appearance to guess fraternal. When we come into a decision-making moment with a solid preconceived notion that excludes the possibility of the truth, we've lost the challenge before it's begun.
