Here's what I look at. Random election where you have candidate 1 who is loved by many and hated by manyโ€ฆ candidate 2 who is "meh" for everyone and only receives votes because of hatred for candidate 1.

Obama/Romney fits the bill.

Canadianfag saw this first hand in Toronto election when Rob Ford was elected. Equally polarizing. Half the city adored him, half absolutely hated him. But the best the other side could come up with was George Smitherman who had his own baggage and was "meh".

No way hatred of POTUS on the left is enough to, er, trump the adoration of him on the right.

>215 Spadina Avenue

A small unassuming converted building. Lots of them up and down Spadina and in that part of Toronto. In that type of intimate environment, there's no way that those two companies would not have crossed paths regularly.

Also, frankly would have expected a company with that type of reach and importance to be somewhere in the downtown core like the banks and other important businesses. That building is the headquarters of a company controlling the elections of how many governments and countries??? Those buildings are usually the architects, small professionals, the "creative class" etc.
