I seem to have the perhaps unreasonable expectation of them to lead from the front. It might be impacting my ability to work with a proper teacher. Although the teacher is ultimately internal it may be that I'm not yet capable of walking accurately without an external/illusory guide. Maybe I've been swallowed by my arrogance, maybe even that arrogance is pure and empty. Perspectives are perspective-y.
