Checking flight history over the last several days for the USAF fleet of E4-B Nightwatch aircraft. Tails 73-1676, 73-1677, 74-0787, and 75-0125.
On Friday the 13th 74-0787, call sign ORDER66, flew out of Barksdale AFB to over southern Lake Superior. Then flew an oval orbiting flight track mostly over the water, then returned to Barksdale AFB.
12 hours ago 75-0125, call sign CLUB22, flew down from Wright-Patterson AFB and landed at Barksdale AFB also. So now the two main E4-Bs are both parked at the B-52 base at Barksdale. PF says main E4-Bs because 73-1676 and 73-1677 have not been very active at all in 2020. Typically they all are kept at Offutt, the E4-Bs home base.
No other Nightwatch flights show in history for the last four days.
PF wonders if some sort of training is coming up and that is why both are at Barksdale. Or if this is being done for some other reason.
