Taxes went way up for some upper middle class, yes. Went up for me; married parent of two with plenty to write off. Problem is, we're dual income and over 150k. The tax plan really did hike taxes and not lower them for higher earners. Upper middle is footing the bill now instead of middle middle or lower middle. Don't take this post as a complaint, but it's just fact that the money has to come from somewhere.
