Bad guys don't know what's going on and want Durham to react. Maybe he makes a legal mistake in doing so.
Sets up any Durham drop as Durham being pressured by POTUS to do something. This could mean stuff is in the pipe that it's Biden on the indictment list, so bad guys are front-running a, "Durham as Trump's puppet", smear.
