Washington DC functions on Tourism. Come to protest but don't stay and don't spend any money and be gone before dark !! Also try not to spend any money in Virginia, they depend on tourism but are willing to remove the statues of the Confederacy. Those who do not heed the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it.
