Trump Accountability Project Blacklist for Trump Adminstration Workers Folds
The group led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, started to assemble lists of names of Trump supporters to target post election but something stopped them in their tracks
The Marxist-Progressive Left, led by US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), launched an audacious project to amass a blacklist of every Trump supporter in the nation so they could execute not only a shunning, but establish a Truth & Reconciliation Commission that would “erase Trump’s lies.” But the effort has mysteriously stalled. The so-called Trump Accountability Project, which employed a comprehensive list of people who both worked with and supported President Trump with the goal of blacklisting anyone and everyone who supported President Trump from “polite society,” has announced it is “no longer active.” The sparse and dysfunctional website issued this statement:
“The Trump Accountability Project was started because we believe restoring democratic norms are vital to protecting America’s future. A critical part of making sure the nation never finds itself in this position again is to make sure those members of the Trump administration responsible for loosening the guardrails of our democracy are not rewarded with book deals, TV contracts, or six-figure salaries in the private sector based on that experience. Ultimately, however, the goal of the project was to play a part in restoring the soul of the nation, and we’ll follow President-elect Biden’s lead to get us there. Accordingly, in the spirit of the President-elect’s call to build a more united country, this project will no longer be active.” The announcement was immediately outed for its failure, the catalyst being the unpopularity of the totalitarian idea; an idea reminiscent of the re-education initiatives executed by the likes of Pol Pot in Cambodia, Stalin in the USSR, and Mao in China.
The effort was the brainchild of several high-profile individuals including former Clinton and Obama administrations member Robert Reich who tweeted, “When this nightmare is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.” He was joined by several Progressives in the public eye including the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin who chillingly tweeted, “Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.” Ocasio-Cortez, whose Progressive ideology leans toward Socialism, issued an unbridled call to arms tweeting, “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” the Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. While the group cited Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden as the motivation behind abandoning the project, it appears that in reality the blacklisting of Americans didn’t poll well the public.
