Phil Anon report

Anon was asking in a previous bread, what is life like here in Phils with the lockdowns.

For the most part people are very chill. They are used to hardship and have a high tolerance of things anon considers intolerable. They accept the masks without question, but in general view it as a rule to follow more than actual fear of their life. They can't afford the $30 fine if they are caught without a mask, so they wear it. The same now holds true with these ridiculous face shields. The requirements and conditions for using these things varies from place to place, and from week to week. It creates a condition that no one really knows what the fuck is going on, they just follow along whatever the latest Facebook announcement is. "Oh I guess they won't be running the ferry boats this week", "oh I have to do a home quarantine if the police told me to," etc. In daily practice, they won't bother you if you are inside a vehicle, and in my neighborhood we walk around with no face masks. I just avoid shops and malls where I know I would have to wear it…send the ladies to shop instead.

At the government level, they still don't know what the fuck is happening. Filipinos are easily convinced by science, and whatever white people say. So the bullshit being handed down by global health experts is not even questioned. Even the top health official in the country has not noticed that the 2017 deaths from "influenza and lung conditions" is about 9X higher than the current 2020 covid deaths. People quickly adopted a kind of narcissistic "we are in this together" attitude, and "Filipinos will overcome" mentality without ever questioning if it was real. Forget about trying to get on a detail level like PCR testing efficacy. All they know is how many cases, and how can we flatten the curve. Facemasks are now a fashion item. Obviously IDGAF what people think, so I only put on a mask when passing a police checkpoint (rare).

Now the dire consequences of the herd mentality: Are you ready? Anons may know about a typhoon that passed thru last week, resulting in massive flooding in Luzon (Manila area). Corpses washing down streams, people texting for help from their roof tops, people getting electrocuted by down power lines. Its bad. Only so far people cannot go to the flood zones and help, because Covid. Supplies cannot reach the flood zones, because Covid. Even if supplies COULD reach the flood zones, they are not permitted to be used because they might be infected. Anyone going TO the flood zone from another area would have to quarantine for 14 days first. So now we get to watch a human tragedy unfold that absolutely did not need to happen this way. On my island, there is a plane load of supplies ready to send, but no permission to receive the shipment on the other end.

I hope anons read this and understand how truly and utterly fucked up the Deep State overlords would make the world, if it were not for Donald Trump. Around here when there is talk of vaccines, most people are like "yes please." In the last 2 days I am learning how Dominion Voting got their start in Venezuela, oh and Philipppines and Mongolia. Well what do you know. We have notoriously fucked up elections anyway, so I guess this was as good a place as any for them to get started fine tuning their software.

Will continue this report with the GOOD things about Philippines…

The GOOD things

Expats locate in SE Asia for many reasons. I can recommend Phils as a good place to check out for its tropical climate, local food supply, and English-secondary language. Cost of living is very low, and it is full of happy people who like Americans. Most of them are Catholic, but don't worry there are plenty of Bible churches as well. They like to sing a lot, and the karaoke machine will be at least half loaded-up with classic Bon Jovi or Bryan Adams, so you may feel right at home. The younger kids like Kpop, which has grown on me some.

Geopolitically we are right in the middle of things, but feel at least some margin of protection from the US while Trump is in command. These islands are too strategic and too close to Guam for the US to let them fall (I hope). Gun ownership is legal here for citizens, so your wife could own one if you marry locally. There are various restrictions about property and business ownership for foreigners, as in most places. I won't say travel is easy here, because the roads are slow and may involve taking a ferry. But I prefer it that way.

For this expat, the best thing about Philippines is actually its relative poverty. There are too many people here for the government to track, and not near enough funding for 5G towers, drones, and facial recognition. Most people do not even have a driver's license. Most legal things are done by paper, meaning you may have hassle getting all the signatures and stamps you need….but on the other hand no one has a digitized database of you or your whereabouts. It takes sometimes years to get a license plate issued, so a lot of things get done by temporary permit. Or just no permit at all. I can buy a hand-made rattan sofa for $100, or get a locally made mahogany table for cheap. With your wits and a little money here, a smart anon could live off grid and fly under the radar, while living in fair harmony and tranquility. I have not reached this Zen status yet, but will in the next few years.

If anon ever moved back to the US, it would be with a completely new mentality. Off grid, no debts, reduced digital presence. Would live in the mountains and avoid all cities and air travel. But without significant changes in the US election system, fiat banking, police state / technocracy, it would never feel free. I truly hope Trump can change things in a permanent way, and not just an 8 year breathing space. I want this Great Awakening to be a massive fucking world-changing upheaval. If we are going to move into the future as the human race, it cannot be with Skynet hovering overhead, and AI algorithms, and managed lifestyles. I would rather us get bombed back to the age of steam than face an AI future.

Anon, I feel no doubt that POTUS is up to something regarding space, regarding the moon, mars, Musk, all of it. I've been wondering the same thing as you.

Either some major major reveal, like aliens, a stargate, a moon city, etc.

Or I could see something major like the formation of a new 'space country' jurisdiction. Maybe like a colony, or say 'citizens of earth' kind of thing.

What is your take

Wanna get some input from anons, if you can expand your thinking.

I have a theory that the Space X launches are real, astronauts really do go to space and dock with the ISS…. but they are showing us CG images because they don't want something else to be revealed.

What would that something be?
