Attorneys representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on behalf of Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar are very irritated the Trump campaign is asking legal questions about how the 2020 presidential election was conducted.

According to Trump Campaign Communications Director Tim Murtaugh, campaign attorneys have been on the receiving end of unprofessional behavior, which has been reported to the court.

"Since this case was filed, undersigned counsel has been subjected to continuous harassment in the form of abusive e-mails, phone calls, physical and economic threats , and even accusations of treason – all for representing the President of the United States' campaign in this litigation. It is one thing for members of the public to break the laws of decorum, or even laws of Pennsylvania or the United States, by engaging in such harassment. This Court's role is not to protect counsel from such attacks. But is another thing fo ra lawyer sin the Washington D.C. office of Kirkland & Ellis, Secretary Boockvar's outside counsel, to do so. And yet that is what happened," a motion to the court states. "It is quintessentially the Court's role to police and appropriately sanction law firms appearing in front of it for such conduct. It is plaintiff's obligation to defend its counsel, and it does so now by respectfully moving for an order for Kirkland & Ellis to show cause justifying the conduct of its lawyers."

As a reminder, Secretary Boockvar has a history of anti-Trump sentiment.

TALLINN - Estonia is the only member of NATO and the European Union to attack the legitimacy of the US presidential election, Estonian MEP Urmas Paet said on Sunday.

"Looking at the outgoing week, which proved a sad one when it comes to Estonia's reputation due to verbal attacks and insults made by Minister of Finance Martin Helme and [former] Minister of the Interior Mart Helme against the US elections and President-elect Joe Biden, it is clear that Estonia's reputation has taken a serious blow," Paet wrote on social media.

"These declarations reached the entire world. Estonia is the only NATO ally of the United States and member state of the European Union whose government members have mounted such an attack on Biden and the US elections," he said.

"And this is something that makes us stand out – something that draws attention to us. Sadly, it's the kind of attention that will continue causing damage to Estonia for a long time," Paet said, adding that Estonia had been mentioned in US, British, German and French media on 270 occasions during the outgoing week.

"The lion's share, that is 90 percent, was about the declarations by Estonia's finance minister and minister of the interior regarding the US presidential elections, in which they called Joe Biden a corrupt dirt bag that can be blackmailed, and claimed that there is no doubt that the US election outcome had been falsified," he noted.

Funny The Independent says "No Backsies"

https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/trump-election-concede-twitter-emily-murphy-b1723760.html

On Sunday, President Donald Trump tweeted, “He won because the Election was Rigged,” finally admitting, over a week after the American election had been called for President-elect Joe Biden, that the vote count showed he hadn’t achieved re-election. Trump later backtracked on that tweet after numerous national outlets called attention to it, accurately defining it as the concession that Trump had never given. “He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA,” he tweeted a few hours later. “I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!”

But that second tweet was too little, too late. The president had already set something very important into motion.

Millions of dollars in transition funds have been held up by the General Services Administration (or GSA) by Emily W. Murphy, a Trump appointee who has refused to approve any transfer of funds until the president formally recognizes a conclusion to the election. But on Sunday, Trump did just that: he recognized, quite publicly, that Biden had won the election. Whether Trump believes (however erroneously) that Biden’s win is “rigged” is not actually relevant here.
