Bill Gates had his first Ask Big Questions podcast with Rashida Jones today. This episode focussed on the world after COVID-19. Here are my notes. Links to archived images and full transcript at bottom of post.

HIGHLIGHTS (Specific section of notes mentioned in parenthesis):

• Gates indicates that the Gates Foundation does a lot of their work with Bono (Part A)

• Fauci indicates that there is an inexistent flu season in Australia; praises this is due to COVID measures (Part C)

• Fauci mentions his job is also PR and plans to engage society with influencers to tell people to get the COVID vaccine which will be in two doses; special engagement will be done for minority populations (Parts D, E, F)

• Fauci mentions different vaccines will be used on different age groups; but only time will tell (inherently signally his wife's work on bioethics on human experimentation) (Parts I)

• Gates plans to hug singer Bono (Paul David Hewson) once things get "back to normal". Gates indicates that a lot of the Foundation does work with Bono.

B)

Post-COVID world as per Gates:

• People will go to the office less

• Floorspace within the office will be shared between multiple companies; each company will occupy the floor on different days of the week

• Downtown will look different (i.e. be inexistent)

C)

• Fauci indicates everyone six months of age or older should get a flu shot this year

• Gates indicates that even if this is a very low flu season, there must be high compliance of the flu shot

• Fauci correlates public health measures (masking, washing hands, social distancing, etc.) as the reason why Australia has had an almost inexistent flu season. He further indicates that the same measures used to prevent COVID also help prevent the flu. → Therefore COVID is akin the flu

• Fauci mentions to drive vaccination rates high, society must be engaged with people that the society trust (i.e. influencers and Blue Check marks)

• Fauci mentions extra engagement must be done for minority populations because they have a historical understanding of mistrust - African Americans and Latinos

• Fauci mentions PR (public relations AKA brainwashing) is part of his job

• Gates aspires to have transmission rate of COVID to exponentially decline. → Yes, from a PCR test that is not meant to diagnose.

• Fauci mentions there will be two doses for the COVID vaccines

• Fauci does not foresee society going "back to normal" for a while. He skips around on the question and mentions that the public health measures put into place like wearing a mask, not crowding theatres, etc. are a big different than full shutdown/lockdown

• Gates mentions that he has spent time with his kids during lockdown; one of his kids goes to medical school and another is in college

• Gates mentions that coronavirus has viral loads that are "unbelievable" to those of other respiratory diseases

• Gates mentions that since we don't know who superspreaders are, it is easier to tell people with COVID to isolate.

• Gates suggests that children in grades K-8 should go back to school. Since children are going to school and will be social, he mentions that less bars and restaurants should be open to offset the social activity.

I was literally rolling my eyes as I was putting together the notes for that. But it makes sense…all those national laboratories in every country that's highly classified.

Gates is involved in this election scandal and got BLM supporters to work as poll workers…I think his days are numbered
