South Dakota nurse tells CNN she had patients who claimed coronavirus was a hoax even as they were dying from it

'It's like a f***ing horror movie that never ends.'

CNN interviewed a nurse from South Dakota who went viral on Twitter after she claimed that patients were dying from the coronavirus even as they called it a hoax and excoriated former Vice President Joe Biden.

Jodi Doering's four-tweet story went viral with nearly 70K retweets on Saturday.

"I have a night off from the hospital. As I'm on my couch with my dog I can't help but think of the Covid patients the last few days. The ones that stick out are those who still don't believe the virus is real," tweeted Doering.

"The ones who scream at you for a magic medicine and that Joe Biden is [g]oing to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that 'stuff' because they don't have COViD because it's not real. Yes. This really happens," she added.

"And can't stop thinking about it. These people really think this isn't going to happen to them. And then they stop yelling at you when they get intubated," Doering said.

"It's like a f***ing horror movie that never ends," she added. "There's no credits that roll. You just go back and do it all over again."

'It just made me very sad

The registered emergency room nurse appeared Monday on CNN to explain the context behind her viral tweets.

"I think the hardest thing to watch is that people are still looking for something else, and they want a magic answer, and they don't want to believe that COVID is real," Doering said to CNN host Alisyn Camerota.

"And the reason I tweeted what I did is that it wasn't one particular patient, it's just a culmination of so many people," she explained. "Their last dying words are, 'This can't be happening. It's not real.' And when they should be pending time FaceTiming their families, they're filled with anger and hatred, and it just made me very sad the other night, and I just can't believe that those are going to be their last thoughts and words."

Doering went on to exhort Americans to continue wearing face masks and following social distancing guidelines in order to help stop the spread of the coronavirus and ease the burden on medical service providers.

'So morally wrong and unacceptable'

Some were angered by Doering's comments and took to social media to excoriate the nurse for criticizing her patients.

"Badmouthing your own dying patients in exchange for some clout on CNN and on social media is really the last straw for me," said Dr. Eugene Gu, a vehement opponent of Republican policies. "This is so morally wrong and unacceptable and also there is no evidence for any of this. What a rotten culture you are promoting that perverts medicine."

Others questioned the veracity of her account given how few coronavirus deaths there are in the state of South Dakota and the likelihood that she would have seen those deaths in her small town.

Doering also noted that there were more deaths in the state of South Dakota than the entire population of her town of Woonsocket.

Iran Blasts Story Of "Al-Qaeda No.2" Killing In Tehran By Israeli Agents As "Psychological Warfare"

A weekend story in The Washington Post and others claimed that three months ago the CIA and Israel's Mossad conducted a successful high-risk operation to kill al-Qaeda's deputy leader in Tehran who was among the terror group's founding members, and next in line to take command after Ayman al-Zawahri.

It was no less than the accused mastermind behind the twin bombings of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania which killed 224 people and is remembered as al-Qaeda's first large-scale terror attack on United States targets. The covert assassination reads like a Hollywood script:

Israeli agents acting at the behest of American officials assassinated al-Qaeda’s second-in-command in August, in a brazen drive-by shooting in Iran’s capital, according to a senior U.S. official.

Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, whose nom de guerre was Abu Muhammad al-Masri, was killed along with his daughter, Maryam, as they were driving in an upscale Tehran neighborhood, according to the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter’s sensitivity.

Curiously in the case of past major terror leader killings which had US involvement, President Trump was quick to make public the information and declare 'victory'. In the case of any major successful covert op to kill Abu Muhammad al-Masri, Trump would have spiked that football, especially in the middle of his reelection campaign. But instead the world is hearing about it many months after the fact.

Iran is now vehemently denying it. A detailed CNN account of what is known notes that Iranian state media initially said the man killed was a Lebanese academic tied to Hezbollah, but that story didn't appear to bear out.

Still, even in local media it remained a mystery as to exactly what happened:

On the night of August 7, residents of a middle-class neighborhood in northern Tehran heard shooting. Some of them rushed out to see what had happened.

Slumped in a white Renault was a middle-aged man and a younger woman. Both were dead. At least four shots had been fired at them; another had hit a passing car. The two assailants had been on a motorbike, according to Iranian news agencies.

After being reported in the last days by The New York Times, Washington Post, and AP News, Iran has blasted the story as yet another tactic by neocons in D.C. to tie the Shia Islamic Republic to the Sunni terror group al-Qaeda.

With this latest claim of Masri's assassination, the central suggestion to the narrative is that Iran was "harboring" him:

Populist Govts of Hungary, Poland Veto EU’s Globalist Power Grab Budget

EU member states Hungary and Poland have followed through on their threat to block the continental power bloc’s seven-year budget, after Brussels attempted to push it through with conditions the populist nations said were akin to “political enslavement”.

European Union rules mean that many significant decisions — including whether to approve the bloc’s seven-yearly funding programmes — must be taken unanimously, with any single member state able to veto decisions. This safeguard was triggered on Monday by conservative-led Hungary and Poland, who blocked the progress of the €1.8 trillion (£1.6 trillion, $2.1 trillion) ‘Multiannual Financial Framework’ (MFF) as an attack on national sovereignty.

Until now, the distribution of EU funds has been based largely on economic considerations, with the poorest European states receiving the most and the richest — countries like Germany, the United Kingdom, and France — paying the most. Under the proposed new system, if nation-states defied orders from the European Union, or were judged to not be toeing the line on issues such as migrant redistribution, funding could be easily withdrawn.

Germany’s Katarina Barley, who serves as the European Parliament’s vice president, summed up the intention behind the new rules succinctly when she said in October that misbehaving EU members should be “starved financially” into submission.

While the long-debated conditions attached to the new European budget were couched in very specific and even anodyne language — characterising the requirements as “rule of law” stipulations, or a requirement to “respect” democratic norms — critics said the moves were an attempt to exert more direct political control over European nations from Brussels.

Speaking today, Poland’s justice minister Zbigniew Ziobro was absolutely explicit in how the plan attacked the sovereignty of individual EU members, leaving them vulnerable to the will of other states. Deutsche Welle reports that Ziobro said: “The question is whether Poland… will be subject to political and institutionalized enslavement.

“Because this is not rule of law, which is just a pretext, but it is really an institutional, political enslavement, a radical limitation of sovereignty.”

“‘Allocation’ or ‘quota’, to change the name is not enough. Hungary is against it. The basic approach is still unchanged. They [the Commission] would like to manage migration, and not to stop the migrants. The Hungarian position is stop the migrants.” https://t.co/12qmBhIb18

Hungary’s Viktor Orban, for his part, said “nothing is agreed on until everything is agreed on” — a reference to the fact that the workings of the European Union mean Hungary was powerless to stop the new rules being added to the budget, so was left with no choice but to block the whole budget, as is its right. Hungary Today reports Orban as saying the law would lead to “politically motivated financial sanctions” and that ultimately the way that EU rulings are implemented in Hungary has to be up to Hungarians, and Hungarians alone.

Biden Team Begs For $30M To Fight Trump Lawsuits Despite Claiming Electoral Victory

"We wouldn’t be asking if we didn’t truly need $30 million"

Despite receiving near-universal proclamations of victory from the corporate media and setting up a verified “transition team” account on Twitter, behind closed doors the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris campaign is begging supporters to raise $30 million for fighting lawsuits regarding election integrity filed by the Donald Trump campaign.

Emails from the Democratic National Committee and the Biden campaign were sent out to donors last week that asked for help “re-launching our Biden Fight Fund” to “ensure Trump doesn’t win them just because we don’t have the funds to fight back.”

“The crises facing our country are severe from climate change to racial injustice,” the letter said. “We have to step up NOW and give and raise the funding we need to have the necessary funds to make sure that the Biden Harris Transition Team has the money it needs to stay on track to be ready on Inauguration Day January 20, 2021.”

“Because of the $5000 limit we need EVERYONE to focus on raising this money now,” the email begged, adding that the Biden campaign and DNC “wouldn’t be asking if we didn’t truly need $30 million to be able to fund the legal work ahead — we can’t run out of resources now, which is why we need to fill this fund as soon as we can.”

The email’s tone stands in stark opposition to the public tone of the Biden campaign, which declared victory within days of the election, before recounts had been performed.

Last week, the office of Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe confirmed that Biden is not receiving sensitive national security information because the General Services Administration has not ascertained the winner of the election:

The office of the Director of National Intelligence confirmed this week that Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is not receiving sensitive national security information and related intelligence reports because the General Services Administration has not confirmed the winner of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

“ODNI follows the statutory direction provided in the Presidential Transition Act, which requires ascertainment of the candidate by the administrator of GSA prior to supporting a potential presidential transition,” the office of Director National Intelligence John Ratcliffe told NBC News in a statement this week. “ODNI would not have contact with any transition team until notified by the GSA administrator.”

Biden is also not receiving the President’s Daily Brief because President Donald Trump has not authorized the release of the various intelligence reports contained within to the Biden team.

Despite this, the Biden-Harris “transition team” has claimed they will be receiving a “national security briefing” on Tuesday, without explaining who will be hosting the briefing.
