I use a virtual machine mounted on a 3.0 micro sd card for this. I keep an unused cloned fresh copy if case something goes south. NONE of my personal browsing or info ever hits a VM machine, they would only gain past web history and that would all be 8kun and digs related to it, pure anon.
Never have an issue but if I do, just toss the sd card, clone a new copy in on a new card and back up running in a few minuets, host machine is immune unless you set it to share, don't.

Well I use a VPN but that only protects you from lower level hackers, no hiding from the black hats in governments. If they fear me that bad, they know what door to stack up on, I'll meet them there if it comes to it. I survived cancer, I will not sit and worry about my last day anymore, when it's my time it's my time. When ever that day comes, I WILL remain a free man until my last breath. Anyone thinking of trying to take my Freedom from me, know that I will not allow it, live your life and leave me be and we'll both live longer. Probably so, I do what I can, most of us do. I'm not going to sit and worry about it.
