You’re never going to convince me this isn’t peak masculinity @RealCandaceO

@RealCandaceO

Since I’m trending I’d like to clarify what I meant when I said “bring back manly men”.

I meant: Bring back manly men.

Terms like “toxic masculinity”, were created by toxic females.

Real women don’t do fake feminism.

Sorry I’m not sorry.

Google Sued For Data Costs After Android Phones Found Transferring "Unapproved, Undisclosed" Data

16 Nov 2020

A new lawsuit against Google filed on Thursday of last week raises interesting questions about whether or not the tech giant is "stealing Android users' cellular data allowances though unapproved, undisclosed transmissions to the web giant's servers".

The suit, filed in US federal district court in San Jose by 4 plaintiffs aims to be certified as a class action. It alleges that Google is using Android users' limited cellular data allowances to transmit information about the users unrelated to the use of Google services. The case surrounds "data sent to Google's servers that isn't the result of deliberate interaction with a mobile device", according to The Register.

In other words, data transfers happening in the background, when the phone isn't in use. The suit alleges that none of the four agreements accepted to participate in the Google ecosystem say anything about cell data transfers taking place in the background.

The suit states: "Google designed and implemented its Android operating system and apps to extract and transmit large volumes of information between Plaintiffs’ cellular devices and Google using Plaintiffs’ cellular data allowances."

Gen. Milley’s wife saved a man’s life at the Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington

16 Nov 2020

The wife of the nation’s highest-ranking military officer saved the life of man during a Veterans Day event at the Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday.

Hollyanne Milley — a practicing nurse married to Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — was attending the ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier when she heard groaning behind her. It was just after the ceremonial wreath had been placed and before President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert Wilkie appeared.

Milley can be seen on video closing her umbrella and walking toward the sound about a minute and a half after a man in a dark suit is seen uneasily walking up the stairs, bracing himself on the marble as he went. Once at the top of the stairs, he kneeled behind a column at the eastern entrance of the Memorial Amphitheater, near where the ceremony was taking place.

In a statement emailed to Military Times on Saturday, Milley said she heard “a little commotion” behind her and she went to see if she could help.

“When I first got there, he was breathing in a very erratic way that he wasn’t really taking air into his lungs as he should have been,” Milley said. “And then he stopped breathing.”

Google Earth user spots dome-covered cave in Antarctica, sparking alien theories

14 Nov 2020

An eagle-eyed Google Earth devotee thinks there’s something odd going on in Antarctica.

The self-proclaimed “Earth watchman” claims he spotted an air vent on top of a “metallic shield” in a no-fly zone on the icy continent.

The keen observer posted a video on YouTube titled “HUGE Cave Opening Covered With an Iron Dome in Antarctica! – Appears to go DEEP Underground.”

In his clip, Mr MBB333 estimates the area is over 150 feet wide — based on his measurement using Google Earth tools. Its two distinctive features: a pitch-black “opening” and a metal-like “shield.”

“That looks like some sort of vent, a thermal vent that goes underground. You can tell that the snow is darker than any other snow in the surrounding area,” he tells viewers. “That would imply to me that there is heat transfer going on” and suggests the top section is some metal or metal alloy man-made structure “over an opening that goes underground”.

Army-Funded Algorithm Decodes Brain Signals

16 Nov 2020

A new machine-learning algorithm can successfully determine which specific behaviors—like walking and breathing—belong to which specific brain signal, and it has the potential to help the military maintain a more ready force.

At any given time, people perform a myriad of tasks. All of the brain and behavioral signals associated with these tasks mix together to form a complicated web. Until now, this web has been difficult to untangle and translate.

But researchers funded by the U.S. Army developed a machine-learning algorithm that can model and decode these signals, according to a Nov. 12 press release. The research, which used standard brain datasets for analysis, was recently published in the journal Nature Neuroscience.

“Our algorithm can, for the first time, dissociate the dynamic patterns in brain signals that relate to specific behaviors and is much better at decoding these behaviors,” Dr. Maryam Shanechi, the engineering professor at the University of Southern California who led the research, said in a statement.

Dr. Hamid Krim, a program manager at the Army Research Office, part of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command’s Army Research Laboratory, told Nextgov Shanechi and her team used the algorithm to separate what they call behaviorally relevant brain signals from behaviorally irrelevant brain signals.

“This presents a potential way of reliably measuring, for instance, the mental overload of an individual, of a soldier,” Krim said.

If the algorithm detects behavior indicating a soldier is stressed or overloaded, then a machine could alert that soldier before they are even able to recognize their own fatigue, Krim said. Improving self-awareness is central to the Army’s interest in this research, he added.

The research is part of an effort to establish a machine-brain interface. Eventually, Krim said, this research may contribute to the development of technology that can not only interpret signals from the brain but also send signals back to help individuals take automatic corrective action for certain behaviors, he added.

Imagination is the only limit when it comes to the potential of this technology, Krim said. Another futuristic application could enable soldiers to communicate with each other without ever opening their mouths.

“If you’re in the theater, and you can’t talk, you can’t even whisper, but you can still communicate,” Krim said. “If you can talk to your machine, and the machine talks to the other machine, and the machine talks to the other soldier, you have basically a full link without ever uttering a word."

Is it possible that transhumanism is really an ersatz ascension explicitly designed to ensure the real ascension never happens by grounding our consciousness to 3D?

Did [they] go down the list of all the abilities that humans are destined to (re)acquire and counterfeit them?

Imagine a Grima Wormtounge hovering over a sleeping prince, plotting to get the prince to sign an agreement that seems to give the prince many benefits but is secretly designed to force the prince to abdicate the throne when the day arrives.
