There’s two stores I go to, very pro Trump. When I see people wearing them, I gauge the situation and very often will say quietly, “you don’t have to wear that in here if you don’t want to.” This gives them two things, choice and power. 99% of the time they say, “on really? Whew!” and take it off.
Most (sane) people like feeling in control of their choices and bodies.
