+6% of Trump votes, on average, were switched to Biden votes.

Biden should not have gotten 20% of the vote in ALL precincts.

Trump lost 6% at the extreme end, Biden gained 6% at the extreme end.

Probably 3% on average.

Resulting in a 6% vote differential.

What weird algorithm were they using for the net change to always have the same approximate number?

Multiples of ~6000 in PA

Multiple of ~4500 in GA

 

I think its a function of the votes. The ratio of the negative shift is exactly the same as the ratio of Trump votes in GA vs PA.

4500/6000 = 0.75

2,400,000/3,200,000 = 0.75

 

Or, Trump's vote decreases by ~0.002 every update.

In both states.
