I cheated and just watched the SparkNotes explanation on YouTube. Sad. A society with no individual liberties is unimaginable. I’ve always believed that a Godless utopian society would always be a fruitless endeavor. Why? Because man is sinful and will always be inclined to promote their own selfish ambitions. Every natural person regardless of what type of government they live under, will do what is necessary to get ahead. They will lie, cheat, steal, and kill to survive. It’s not until a person has willingly died to self can real change occur. They have to shed their natural instincts and put on a spiritual one.
I leave it at that but after watching the short video, I might read (or listen) to the book. Thank you fren.
