What happened, folks? The virus was supposed to disappear after the Election Day, and they kind of ran with that narrative for a few days. Suddenly the virus was "less deadly," and then the vaccine was announced shortly after. Now a little more than a week later, the virus is so deadly that my county is under house arrest, the schools are closed, and even red states are adding new virus restrictions.

What happened? Why the narrative change? Was it to punish the people for giving Trump a landslide? Was the plan to loosen up virus restrictions after Trump conceded, but then Trump didn't concede? How did we go from "the virus will be over after Election Day" to new house arrest orders?
