See, if money was the ultimate pursuit, as the proles are largely convinced, then there would be no people like Soros. In reality, money is pointless.
Once you get to a certain point, money is just another hurdle you have to go through in order to garner or enact power.
Bribery is genuinely scarce after a certain point because it becomes pointless. Why go through the hassle of moving funds around when you can give someone a private island to keep your family out of trouble? Why pay someone off when you can offer them a night with your niece in exchange for your daughter to get a job in such a position where you don't need to bribe or threaten someone to cover up a crime of someone you work for?
Now are you getting how politics works?
It's more like the people being controlled by /ourguys/ are keeping people away from schools, malls and other big events so they don't do Las Vegas, Boston, Parkland, etc. on us over again.
They probably don't like having to keep us squeezed in our houses, but it probably also helps people get super curious and bored with nothing to do, which might make them more likely to read something they otherwise wouldn't.
See, the monetary system is just a big charade anyway. Those papers in your wallet are just papers. [They] don't even hesitate to not avoid pretending they aren't just IOUs at this point. You really think any of this is about money? Yes, some idiots might be in a terrible position right now because they can't spend money on things without going full retard, but they were going to be horrible with money anyway.
