I noticed lately that a lot of the absurd announcements that the democrat governors and mayor's have been giving about lock downs and restrictions on Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings have been accompanied with an interpreter.

I attended a college with a very large population of deaf students and a lot of classes would have interpreters for the deaf students in the class. It was extremely distracting to the non deaf students. It was very hard to focus on the teacher and what they were teaching with a person standing off to the side flailing about and making extremely emotional facial expressions (not to be insensitive).

Pay attention next time and see how much you inadvertently focus on the interpreter and less on the info, you'll be surprised!
