As a Brit, I feel humiliated that the first state visit of DJTs presidency has been for the cheese-eating surrender monkeys when it could have been our place, cementing the so-called "special relationshipo" that UK PMs are so keen to brag about when the occasion suits them. But I understand why it has not transpired that way; PM May (be I will, May be I won't) is an unworthy ally and I'm sure DJT is rubbing her nose in it by inviting Macron for the first state visit instead of her. She deserves it - pusillanimous cow.
Too right - one that will do the job of PM a whole lot better than she ever can.

Just do your duty. "Labour and not seek reward."
Learn from the Master.
"7 “Suppose one of you has a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Will he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8 Won’t he rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9 Will he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10 So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’”Luke 17.
