maybe it is effective against parasites, i dont know. but it is also effective against viruses. its actually effective against corona viruses specifically. it was found to be an effective early treatment and prophylactic for SARS-CoV-1 (SARS virus) by inhibiting the interaction between the ACE-2 receptors in the lungs, and the viruses T-cells. this is how the virus infects the body. and SARS-CoV-2, (the virus that causes COVID) just happened to "evolve" the exact same T-cells, and infect the body in the exact same way. thats why POTUS took it as a prophylactic when he was exposed to a positive case even though he was negative.
