Is it at all unusual for press briefings to happen at 4 PM? Check out this chart for the briefing. Keeping in mind this is a map of the solar system from a subjective POV, facing south because we are in the Northern Hemisphere, look where that conjunction of planets is, right at the Noon point, the MC! The moon is up there too, having just passed out of void-of-course phase (BIG deal not to do stuff when moon is VOC).
