I’ve grumbled about some policy areas and other things, but I doubt there’s another man alive that could have soaked up the abuse and accomplished amazing things. They would be, because those who get an annual flu shot are more likely to be within the at risk age bracket for covid. Whether the flu shot makes one more susceptible is a question I’ve had from the beginning, because of how quickly covid spread among the elderly and because of the known phenomenon of vaccine interference. Disentangling a causal pathway from mere correlation needs to be attempted.
