Ok lawfags, should we be worried about this SCOTUS assignment ordeal?

On it's face it looks great because good guise are now connected to lower circuit courts directly involved in the fuqery but…

>The Chief Justice of the United States and the associate justices of the Supreme Court shall from time to time be allotted as circuit justices among the circuits by order of the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice may make such allotments in vacation.

>A justice may be assigned to more than one circuit, and two or more justices may be assigned to the same circuit.

>(June 25, 1948, ch. 646, 62 Stat. 870.)

This means 1) they actually sit on the bench in these circuits and 2) JOHN ROBERTS MADE THESE ASSIGNMENTS.

Here's my red flag:

If the good guise rule on matters in the circuit court must they recuse themselves if and when they make it to the SCOTUS?

Lawfags,

If a SCOTUS assigned to a circuit court makes ANY DECISIONS REGARDING A CASE WHATSOEVER, must he recuse himself if and when that case reaches SCOTUS level?

Kind of a big deal.

Please and thank you.
