I do have a randomly obscur question for you, if you have any thoughts or info on it.

I once heard that the placement of the stickers on the back road signs were some sort of emergency route code, or something.

Meaning if you were driving south on a northbound road you would see the reflective back of the signs. Almost everyone of these signs have a sticker back there (manufacturer i believe). Placement = info
