Considering the messages that went by, I think that they were trying to cloud-hack access to a console or admin area. This filled up the debug log and used up available disk space.

 

One of the nodes filled up first, which caused the server to struggle to handle request, as it had to free disk space. OS, web server, and database would all have problems; depending which machine they were trying to hack.

 

deleting the log and setting up a logrotate would fix this problem.

You have to understand that when the people giving you names of people to hire, and the people that do background checks of those people are both compromised, you are almost guaranteed to be given lists of compromised people to choose from.

doesn't appear significantly different for what i'm looking at. but i'll take your word that 9mm went up. its probably tied to gun popularity. 9mm handguns seem pretty popular right now.
