I have several DOD contracts & have been tasked to manufacture AR-15 A3 100% uppers.

in the past, getting the forgings has not been an issue. 2-3 week lead times.

I called around to the largest US/Canada forging suppliers & it was as if they were all reading from the same script.

6-18 month lead times due to the insanely high demand due to the economy.

don't have a whole lot of sauce bc they were all phone conversations.

1/11 suppliers emailed me back.
