Speaking from the hospital, Hallisey had a message to those who still feel that they can’t be touched by COVID.
“Listen to the scientists,” he said. “I have no idea where I got the virus, and I was a careful distancer and mask-wearer. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody. Follow the (Centers for Disease Control) guidelines and just be careful because you never know who is carrying it. Take personal responsibility and take care of yourself.”
