If you check HSBC (Hongkong Shanghai Banking Co) is has a loooong history og being British to its core and its world HQ is Canary wharf district London City. Yes, shareholder list could have extensive CCP entries but the CEO and board seem legit or wannabe "The City" power suit vetted.
So I don't see a CCP breadcrumb except the detail about the intrenational criminal money laundering scandal from 8 or 9 yrs ago.
