I've been listening to you anons, divided over anime on this board for some time now.
What I've noticed is, some of the anons post it just for spite because they know it's offensive to other anons. It's a division tactic whether any of you are aware of it or not. ( and I'm sure many of you are. You guys are good, sharp, I have nothing but praise for my fellow anons. )
Some of you seem to be TOO offended by anime. It's one thing to not like it, but another thing entire to be so reprehensible towards it you're willing to set each other on fire.
I get both your points, both sides, I really do.
Just wanted to say, Myself, personally, as long as it's not perverted or dominating the board, I could honestly care less. I am an artist myself and have made hundreds of very cool memes for this place. Art is my forte. I see art in everything. I am not a judge or jurror on this matter, but I gotta be honest… I just don't care.
An example to think about.
When my daughter was very young, she couldn't wait to get up on Saturday mornings and watch the powder puff girls. She'd always come and wake me too, because I pretended to love them too, for her sake. I never really saw any harm in that. They were cute as hell. How is it really that wrong? After all the CP attacks we had I can understand being gun shy, but why so darned hostile and defensive about it if it's clean and done in good taste?
Is there something I am missing? Other than the presumed age of most anime characters?

I don't understand why you guys divide yourselves and fight over anime.
Personally, I don't care one way or another. My daughter used to wake me up every Saturday morning and literally drag me to the Tv and serve me pretend coffee from plastic toy cups while we watched the PowerPuff girls. I never saw anything wrong with that, they were cute as hell.
On the other hand, I've seen some raunchy, disgusting x rated anime that really shouldn't be in existence anywhere. I've never seen it here though. What I have seen never really seemed that bad. Why are anons so opposed to it?
Is it because most anime characters are presumably young and everyone is gun shy because of the CP attacks we've suffered through?
Or is there something altogether different and sinister going on that I'm totally missing?
Would anyone care to respond and elaborate, briefly, but in kind?
Israel is closes ally in MIDDLE EAST…. that doesn't mean they are truly our friends or to be trusted 100%, but for the time being, we do share common goals there… which is why Israel is … LAST.
