There's no way anything is going back to normal.
I think these people bailing realize that Trump will take everything down and they hope that just putting Biden in will stop the bleeding.
Any government official or reporter or pundit will need to find a new line of work. That's what they're staring at, IMO.
The one's screaming are the ones who have been rooted out. Their only hope is to incite public opinion against Trump at this point.
