I would like to draw your attention urgently to important issues related to the next Covid-19 vaccination. Justice Alito unloads on coronavirus restrictions in bombshell Federalist Society speech

Supreme Justice Samuel Alito has warned that “the pandemic has resulted in previously unimaginable restrictions on individual liberty” and that freedom of speech is at risk of “becoming a second-tier Constitutional right.”

Speaking to the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention, which was hosted online this year, Alito said, “it is an indisputable statement of fact: we have never before seen restrictions as severe, extensive and prolonged as those experienced, for most of 2020.”

“Think of all the live events that would otherwise be protected by the right to freedom of speech, live speeches, conferences, lectures, meetings, think of worship services, churches closed on Easter Sunday, synagogues closed for Passover on Yom Kippur War.”

“Think about access to the courts, or the constitutional right to a speedy trial,” said Alito. “Trials in federal courts have virtually disappeared in many places who could have imagined that the COVID crisis has served as a sort of constitutional stress test. And in doing so it has highlighted disturbing trends that were already present before the virus struck.”

Alito shared his concern about the growing “dominance of lawmaking by executive fiat rather than legislation.” Under the umbrella of emergency and disaster declarations, non-elected experts as opposed to elected representatives have pushed for sweeping restrictions which “confer enormous executive discretion” at the expense of fundamental rights.

Alito discussed Jacobson v. Massachusetts, a 1905 case in which the U.S. Supreme Court upheld forced vaccinations related to a smallpox outbreak:

So what are the courts doing in this crisis, when the constitutionality of COVID restrictions has been challenged in court, the leading authority cited in their defense is a 1905 Supreme Court decision called Jacobson versus Massachusetts. The case concerned an outbreak of smallpox in Cambridge, and the Court upheld the constitutionality of an ordinance that required vaccinations to prevent the disease from spreading. Now I’m all in favor of preventing dangerous things from issuing out of Cambridge and infecting the rest of the country and the world. It would be good if what originates in Cambridge stayed in Cambridge. But to return to the serious point, it’s important to keep Jacobson in perspective, its primary holding rejected a substantive due process challenge to a local measure that targeted a problem of limited scope. It did not involve sweeping restrictions imposed across the country for an extended period. And it does not mean that whenever there is an emergency, executive officials have unlimited unreviewable discretion.

Israeli army combat helicopters bombed Khan Yunus, according to data received by Anadolu Agency.

U.K. to use AI tool to process 'high volume' of expected adverse reactions from COVID vaccine

"Most" of the side effects are reportedly "mild and short-term."

The British government is funding the development of an artificial intelligence tool to track and log what it anticipates will be a "high volume" of adverse reactions to the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine once it becomes widely distributed.

A "contract award notice" posted to the European Union public procurement tracker Tenders Electronic Daily states that the U.K.'s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency plans to deploy "an Artificial Intelligence (AI) software tool" to "process the expected high volume of Covid-19 vaccine Adverse Drug Reaction (ADRs) and ensure that no details from the ADRs' reaction text are missed."

"It is not possible to retrofit the MHRA's legacy systems to handle the volume of ADRs that will be generated by a Covid-19 vaccine," the contract notice continues. "Therefore, if the MHRA does not implement the AI tool, it will be unable to process these ADRs effectively.

"This will hinder [the MHRA's] ability to rapidly identify any potential safety issues with the Covid-19 vaccine and represents a direct threat to patient life and public health."

The contract, which is worth $2 million, was awarded in September to Genpact (UK) Ltd. The posted announcement states that "reasons of extreme urgency" related to the pandemic have "accelerated the sourcing and implementation of a vaccine specific AI tool."

COVID vaccine safety expected to be 'similar to other types of vaccines'

A spokeswoman for the MHRA confirmed the agency's intended use of artificial intelligence to document the negative health effects associated with a COVID vaccine.

"We have a range of resources and technology to support the safety monitoring of any COVID-19 vaccination programme," an agency representative said via email. "The use of AI will be one element of that. We take every report of a suspected side effect seriously, and we combine the review of these individual reports with statistical analysis of clinical records."

New York Postal Worker Accused Of Dumping Mail In Woods

BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Sean Barrett, 30, of Sanborn, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with delay or destruction of mail. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Paul E. Bonanno, who is handling the case, stated that according to the complaint, on October 13, 2020, the Lewiston, NY, Police Department notified the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) that USPS mail pieces were discovered by witnesses next to a trail in a wooded area off Pletcher Road in Youngstown, NY. The following day, the USPS OIG responded to the Lewiston Police Department and retrieved three mail bins and two garbage bags containing a total of 1,314 first class, certified, and standard mailings. The mail pieces included 15 political mailings and one blank election ballot destined for a Youngstown address. Subsequent investigation determined that the mail was destined for addresses on a mail route assigned to the defendant, who began working for the USPS in 2016. A check of USPS records found that Barrett’s assigned USPS scanner was dormant on October 13, 2020, between 12:20 pm and 3:54 p.m., in the area where the mail pieces were located. During this time period, the defendant’s true location could not be determined.

On October 19, 2020, the USPS OIG returned to the location where the mail pieces were located and found 14 bundles of Western New York Value Papers that had also been discarded. Another 14 bundles of the value papers were found about 30 yards away.

It is for a job that requires one to lie. That the Times lists all the recent nonsense about Russia right at the top of the job description makes it clear that only people who support those past lies will be considered adequate to tell future lies about Russia.

No honest unbiased person will want such a job. But as it comes with social prestige, a good paycheck and a probably nice flat in Moscow the New York Times will surely find a number of people who are willing to sell their souls to take it.

Interestingly the job advertisement does not list Russian language capabilities as a requirement. It only says that 'Fluency in Russian is preferred’.

'Western' mainstream media are filled with such biased, cynical and self-censoring correspondents who have little if any knowledge of the country they are reporting from. It is therefore not astonishing that 'western' populations as well as their politicians have often no knowledge of what is really happening in the world.

Dershowitz: Trump Has ‘Two or Three Legal Constitutional Paths’ — ‘I Don’t Think that the Election Is Going to Be Reversed’

Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was not guided by ulterior motives when he withheld congratulations for Joe Biden on his projected presidential victory amid Donald Trump's refusal to concede.

"Formalities must be followed based on established practices and legal standards. There is no ulterior motive or anything that could serve to further degrade our relationship. It is a purely formal approach," Putin told the Rossiya 1 broadcaster.

The president added he took the wait-and-see approach as he expects the post-election dust to settle in the United States.

"It is not that we like or do not like someone — we are simply waiting for an end of this internal political confrontation," Putin said, adding he had equal respect for both Trump and Biden. "We will work with any person, who holds the trust of the US people. But to whom this confidence is given — it must either be indicated through political convention when one of the parties recognizes the victory of the other, or the final results of the election should be summed up in a legitimate, legal way".

Putin also said that everyone understands that the US election system has drawbacks.

"It is quite evident - it is clear for everyone in the world - it seems to me that it is clear for Americans, there are problems in the US election system…A candidate, who wins in this or that state, he gains all votes of the electors. For example, there are 20. Gained 11, but took all 20. But it may be that there are fewer voters behind these electors…Is it democratic? In my opinion, the question is obvious," the president said.

More Than 2/3rds Of Americans Oppose Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccinations

Ever since it burst out of Wuhan, China roughly one year ago, the coronavirus has created what one economist described as a "trilemma" - that is, the struggle to balance the inevitable tradeoffs between safeguarding public health, the economy and personal freedom.

In the US (and in many spots around Europe as well), some have pointed to skepticism surrounding the accelerated development process for the myriad COVID vaccine projects as a potential obstacle to achieving herd immunity, since a lack of public confidence might force some governments to try and unduly pressure citizens to accept the vaccine.

With all this in mind, policymakers and economists are struggling to pinpoint an acceptable trade-off between public health, economic health and personal freedom. Some analysts have taken to calling these conflicting priorities the coronavirus "trilemma". However these conflicts are resolved will be critical to the economic outlook in 2021, and with Wall Street increasingly expecting the US economy to slide back into contraction during Q4, speculation about the timing and pace of the rebound has been pushed out to next year, and 2022.

To be sure, the timing of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout will be critical in deciding how all of this plays out. But there's another issue, more closely related to the "personal freedom" leg of the "trilemma", that epidemiologists and policymakers may have underestimated. And that's the question of public confidence in the vaccine.

Several Wall Street research shops have published insights on the subject, using data gleaned from YouGov and Gallup opinion polls, along with other sources. The other day, Deutsche Bank published a chart breaking down eagerness to receive the vaccine, along with opinions about whether it should be "mandatory".

FOX News opened their noon hour with a hit piece on President Trump and in extension his 73.8 million confirmed voters.

During the segment FOX reported that Chris Wray’s FBI WILL NOT be investigating any election irregularities.

Nothing to see here. Liberal election workers in Detroit block the entrance to the TCF center for GOP observers and then board up the windows with cardboard and pizza boxes.

They are much too busy to worry about election security.

They have to chase down the Q movement and Trump supporters driving trucks with MAGA flags.

The FBI should be disbanded at this point. What a joke.

Trainor confirmed there was voter fraud this year. The FCC Chairman pointed to the double voters in Nevada and the liberal election officials who blocked conservatives from observing their fraud during the vote counting process.
