It's not that Intervention doesn't happen, I just don't believe it's correlated to your Ceremonies.
I'd rather be Christ-like than Christian.
I believe my view and understanding of God is fuller than yours, and I've the bible cover to cover, plus ventured into the Gnostics and Dead Sea Scrolls.
If you haven't, try reading the Zend Avesta.
Even just the Vendidad will shed some light on things.
