I suspect she is a red herring.
She jumps up and gets people to submit evidence to her and her team to do…. What?
Maybe something. Maybe nothing.
I have long been suspicious of lawyers who take up cases spontaneously, they often submit flawed legal arguments that fail for stupid reasons because the case was argued as a violation of some statute or another.
Take the legal case against the bans on church services during the lockdown round 1. It was argued on religious grounds rather than freedom of assembly grounds. Flawed.
I am not saying that she will do this, time will tell - but it is imteresting to me that we have someone taking up evidence that would otherwise be filed by independent and local attorneys.
This doesn't mean the real legal front will come from Trump's legal team, either.
I fully anticipate this will be a messy set of legal battles, flawed arguments, certification of Biden as President Elect in December…
And then things will get very, very interesting as defense contingencies come into play.
