What did you think when "scientist" said that there is a black hole in the center of our galaxy?
Most said wow, cool or huh? Think about what a black hole is and does. A giant mass sucking everything into its gravitational pull and growing stronger as it gains mass. Yep humanity has an end date.
Religions use the fear of death and the promise of eternal life as bait. Modern day control is more complex use of media and division to control the population. That is why it is failing now. The population can be shown the truth getting around the media control system. Where as before the churches were the only form of entertainment and information. The cabal of families lost the control as the population got too big and the information systems became more open. That is why they want and need to reduce the population… to regain the control.
