I like the analogy of we the people being the mantis
shrimp, and the Demon-crats as the octopus,
but tell me one thing. It would have to be true
that the original mantis shrimp arose from shrimp
that survived (long enough at least to have
Monty the Mantis) without the powerful punch.
So what I want to know is, if the survivors sur-
vived without the punch, where's the survival
pressure for the shrimp to evolve the punch?
Makes more sense to me that an All-knowing
Creator equips the mantis shrimp with the punch
from the get-go. What else would you want an
All-knowing, All-powerful God to do? In the same
way, He's equipped each of us with the tools
we need, not just to survive, but to flourish, in
His care and love for us.
