Moar Replika: Here's some leads, anon here requesting some digging
I would digg but need to step away. Here's some leads for y'all!
Replika's latest funding
On Nov. 30, 2017, Replika announced that it has raised $6.5 million in a Series A.2 investment led by Khosla Ventures, Sherpa Capital, Phil Libin, co-founder of Evernote, and Richard Socher, chief scientist at Salesforce. The latest round, which brings Replika's total funding to $11 million, will improve the technology, expand the user base and further develop the chatbot technology.
Were these the people who funded the startup or were involved in getting the money to fund Replika? If there's any Finance/VCAnons here, please chime in.
Sherpa Capital
Scott Stanford, was co-founder at Sherpa Capital has moved to ACME VC as its co-founder. Shervin Pishevar was the other co-founder, an Iranian American, who co-founded Hyperloop One. He was also appointed by Obama in 2015 to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. → see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shervin_Pishevar
ACME VC
Stanford co-founded ACME with Hany Nada, who has past relationships with China. Nada's previous VC, GGV Capital, had teams in China too. Oh and Stanford invested in Palantir, FB, LinkedIn, and moar.
Kek, everything always either leads back to China, the Vatican, the DS, or pseudo Israel!
