But we’re there any apes beating each other with animal bones?
She’d make a good corporate lawyer
>I don't think either Stone or Bannon would've allowed Trump to be caught flatfooted post-Election Day. I suspect they would've taken care of the vote-by-mail problem in advance.
I’m not at all sure that there’s much anyone could have done to stop that problem from arising, but I’m reasonably certain they would have made a better fist of the last 3 weeks.
>Ellis: It's astonishing how these state election officials had complete disregard for election law
This is not astonishing at all. It was perfectly foreseeable. Whatever the eventual sanctions might prove to be (next to none in the event their candidate succeeds), the very short timeframe for election challenges provides an open invitation for officials to do whatever the fuck they want. Justice (if it still exist) doesn’t really have the opportunity to overturn what they did within the limited time available.
Can’t overturn an election result on those grounds.
I too hope to fuck something is being done with the intel, which must exist in spades. But it can’t be litigated in the time, by Powell or anyone else. Ultimately this is a NatSec matter, but it’s hard to tell whether anyone is still on Team America.
I couple of weeks ago, anon outlined a possible sequence of events “off stage” where SCIF presentation of the intel to those implicated in NatSec crimes would be leveraged to force an orderly unwinding of the clusterfuck election results through the courts. Essentially: stand down, let the stuffed ballots be rejected and other shenanigans be ameliorated, and you don’t go to jail for 20 years.
That, however, does not appear to be happening, at least in the state courts, where activist judges reign.
My reserves of hope, based on situational analysis, are now rather low. I just don’t see the big play and the clock is ticking, ticking …
Good luck taking on 80 million people, tough guy
This is all very interesting, but these are old machines not in use anymore. Tells us nothing about the Dominion kit. I’m sure it’s not much better secured, but this is not evidence germane to current circumstances.
Gen. Flynn was not prosecuted under the UCMJ, so the Flynn experience indicates nothing regarding Powell’s standing to handle any military cases. She may be licensed for military cases, for all I know; but nothing can be inferred from her representation of Flynn in civilian courts.
Either that, or electronic voting machines have always been woefully insecure and that’s the attraction.
