So my silly fuckwit self coulda dun swornt that Q'd said sooooome variation of "read your bible/holy book/scripture".

I was wrong, but that didn't hit me until after I'd rad the entirety of the Old and New Testaments.

(Jesus, I can understand, but… why the fuck does anyone believe Paul???)

After I got done with that, I had a choice.

Do I chase down the other OT books that the Protestants removed cuz fuck the Catholics?

Go back through, with intention, the lost gospels and Gnostics?

Do I read the Talmud? If yes… Babylon or Jerusalem?

Or do I split the OT at the Exile and read up on some Zoroaster/Zarathustra?

Bruh. You should read the Zend Avesta.

Slip it in to the Exile and the NT makes way more sense.

It's still a fuck load of reading and my autism wanders to what I should knock out next.

Go full on into the Rig Vedas and maaaaybe the Upanishad?

The fuck do the Buddhists read?

Weeeell…I found a thing.

Rahula, summana Buddha, aside…

How do you pronounce this?MAGA

Very much like as in magazine… "magga".

"The Buddhist path (magga) to liberation, also referred to as Enlightenment in Buddhism, is described in a wide variety of ways. The classical one is the Noble Eightfold Path, described in the Sutta Pitaka, where it is also preceded by an even older version. A number of other paths to liberation exist within various Buddhist traditions and theology."

Magga is the way of the 8 Fold Path.

MAGA is the way of the 8 Year Term.

I thought it was neat.
