I did some digging on this a few years ago…the masons usurped the truth regarding Pres. Washington's opinion of the masons. While he did attend a few meetings, he was repulsed by their rituals and most especially their oath to secrecy. Indeed, if you look carefully enough your find a letter of Washington stating it! Washington was NOT a mason and did not consider himself a member of the masons!
