Military has ALWAYS struggled with civilian interaction & transition, hence the reason we have Hire Vets-law protection and one of the highest suicide rates amongst our vets. There is a significant level of immaturity that has been occurring during this whole military-civilian transaction. It’s wrong and not correct, no matter how you justify or try to rationalize it. REAL PEOPLE are hurting, suffering, and are dying from this. It’s easy to sit there and hide behind a keyboard, computer screen, or touch phone. There’s another CIVILIAN front line that you have trampled ALL over in this battle. Yesterday’s series of Tweets were immature and insulting to most. They are doing to “We The People” exactly what they are screaming and accusing the left of doing. Let’s just pretend there’s no harm happening to “We The People” and just breathe through it, right? Just like the abuser pounding away on their victim all the while telling them “ ahhh, cmon’ that doesn’t hurt.” Or, better yet, “just relax”…let me whale away on you some more.
