A warning to VPN users
If you use a public VPN your traffic is most likely being logged. Many public VPNs are in fact honeypots used to find those who are involved in illegal activities online. They are pushed as "safe, private, and secure" when in fact the traffic is being logged and scanned, and turned over the the authorities upon request (no subpoenas).
If you want a true VPN without logging then you have to run your own VPN server and hope that it is on a hosting site that also does not keep logs.
