True. I live in a little town that depends mostly on summer tourism. All the usual annual gatherings, art shows and festivals were cancelled resulting in huge losses to the little mom and pop shops. We’re banding together the best we can and always choosing to shop local (100% of the Christmas gifts for my family were local within 10 miles of me), but it’s heartbreaking to hear our friends struggle to stay afloat in their businesses.
